With comedy specials spanning over Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Comedy Central, stand-up comedian Todd Barry is coming to the Weinberg Center on Friday, November 7th, 2025, as part of Frederick’s anti-drunk driving fundraiser, The “Over the Limit Comedy Fest”!
The 8:00 PM performance will be preceded by a one-hour “Pre-Show Party” featuring refreshments as well as sponsored giveaways and raffles. It’s sure to be a great night of hilarity for charity!
Presented by local nonprofit, SOS Safe Ride, all proceeds from this festival go directly toward keeping drunk drivers OFF the roads in our area as the only nonprofit in Frederick working to stop dunk driving.

Todd Barry
Todd Barry, well-known for his sarcastic delivery and crowd work, will be headlining the evening with showcase performances by your favorite hometown Frederick County stand-up comedians.
Most recently, you can find Barry’s special ‘‘Domestic Shorthair’’ on the ‘All Things Comedy’ YouTube channel. Filmed at the Den Theatre in Chicago, Todd touches on everything from lawyer hecklers to TikTok cooking tutorials. You can also find his previous specials “Spicy Honey” on Netflix and “The Crowd Work Tour” on Amazon Prime.

A native of Frederick, Ryan Neser has been performing standup all throughout the area for going on two decades. His comedy comes from his real life experiences, broken home, and his misguided love life. He has a misdirection style of comedy that keeps crowds guessing and laughing. He has appeared at DC Improv, Baltimore Comedy Factoy, USB, DC Draft House, and more. Ryan has opened for Tom Green, Aries Spears, Dana Gould, Charlie Murphy, Tom Arnold, Godfrey, JB Smoove, and more.

Wayne Dorsey is our long-time host, and also Founder/President of our presenting charity, The Safe Ride Foundation. Wayne has been performing stand-up for over 10 years in the DMV area – opening for the likes of Maria Bamford, Myq Kaplan, and Matt Braunger.
